, a PhD student supervised by  (°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹æÂÉÂÛ̳) and (University of Oxford), has won the prize for best student presentation in the Division of Invertebrate Zoology at the  in West Palm Beach, Florida.   

Much of Fergus' work is based on micro-CT measurements taken under the guidance of  at the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹æÂÉÂÛ̳. They used the scanner to describe the detailed array of wind sensitive hairs on the heads of locusts which are important sensors used in flight control.
